In 2020, we installed an automatic GPS tracking device that is on all the time and sends a position report every 30 minutes. When we are underway, this will generate a track, so you can see how we actually got from point A to point B.

The service provider is planning an enhancement where you can click anywhere along the track to see the date, time, course, speed, and position at that spot. For now, you will only be able to see that additional information for the last posted position.

Independent of the position reports, we can post short text updates and you will see that as well on the position reporting page.

When you click on the link below, you will be brought to a page which shows our location as a red dot in the middle of the screen. This initial view is very zoomed out. You can see much more detail about our location if you zoom in (+/- zoom buttons located on the bottom left part of the screen). The page also shows the current weather information at the cursor location.
